Based for the winter season in Wanaka, RA is a grassroots,
non-Government Organization, with no official standing. We are a non-profit
social network that aims to bring Riders and Organizations together, to promote
activism, and the transparency of Alpine and Ocean-based resorts concerning their
environmental impact and sustainability.
Ride Aware is a Volunteer run and operated organization.
Mission Statement:
RA's mission is to
fight climate change and lessen the cultural impact of sports-based travel
through education initiatives and social activism, and by bringing Riders and
Organizations together to enact community-based, and community-driven projects.
